A B2B Manufacturing Website Redesign

In the fast-paced world of modern manufacturing, a company's website is often its first impression—and sometimes its only chance to make one. Unfortunately, many B2B industrial websites are stuck in the past, functioning as mere "digital brochures" rather than active sales tools.
I recently took on the challenge of auditing one such outdated website and completely transforming it into a high-performing digital asset. Here is a look at the process.
The Audit: The "Before" State
The original website for Moll Machine Works, LLC, was typical of many older industrial sites. It was visually dark, somewhat cluttered, and lacked a modern user experience flow.
While the site listed its services, it failed to immediately communicate the company's core strengths or build the necessary trust required in high-stakes B2B procurement. It was purely informational, with no clear path for a potential buyer to take action other than a generic contact link. It was a passive brochure waiting to be read, rather than an active tool trying to sell.

The Redesign Strategy
The goal of the redesign was to shift the focus from passive information gathering to active lead generation. The new site needed to:
Immediately establish credibility.
Clearly articulate technical capabilities without overwhelming the user.
Guide prospective buyers toward a clear call to action (submitting an RFQ).
The Result: A Modern Digital Sales Engine
The finished redesign is a complete departure from the old site.
The new homepage immediately hits the visitor with a clean, bright, and professional aesthetic. The value proposition is crystal clear right at the top: "Precision 5-Axis CNC Machining. From Prototype to Production".
Instead of burying contact information, we utilized prominent calls-to-action. The "Request a Quote" buttons are strategically placed, ensuring that prospective clients always know the next step to take. Furthermore, key trust indicators—such as NIST calibration, CMM inspection reporting, and "Made in the USA" status—are highlighted front and center to build immediate confidence.

Specialized Industrial Design
This project is just one example of my focus on transforming the industrial digital landscape. Whether it's for CNC machining, electric vehicle manufacturing, or outdoor infrastructure, my goal is to create digital experiences that match the high quality of the physical products these companies build.
